I'm Jennifer Borton, and here’s my story.
With a passion for cooking that began in my early college years, I have transformed my love for food into a dedicated service for families and individuals. My culinary journey started with experimenting in the kitchen, creating fun and flavorful meals for family and friends. I also gained valuable experience working in restaurants during college, which helped deepen my appreciation for the culinary arts. Additionally, I was an active member of a supper club, where we explored global cuisines through elaborate dinners complete with wine pairings. This experience not only honed my cooking skills but also ignited my enthusiasm for diverse culinary traditions.
Although my professional path initially led me through real estate sales and recruiting, the desire to pursue my culinary passion never faded. Earlier this year, I received an inspiring call from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, encouraging me to start my culinary education. Seizing the opportunity, I enrolled in courses that enhanced my skills and knowledge, particularly in catering and large-quantity cooking.
I pride myself on creative marinades, spice combinations, and top-notch sauces, which are the cornerstone of my cooking. I provide a premium private chef service focusing on weekly food prep, allowing clients to reclaim their time for what truly matters. I offer a comprehensive service that includes grocery shopping, pantry inventory, cooking, and cleaning—ensuring that your kitchen is left even cleaner than I found it.
I am excited to bring my culinary expertise and personalized approach to your home, delivering nourishing meals tailored to your preferences and lifestyle. Let me take care of the cooking, so you can enjoy the moments that matter most. On my days off, I practice Pilates, go hiking, and shop at local farmers’ markets for inspiration.
My love for food was born through my endless curiosity. I remember as a child asking my mother how she got everything cooked and on the table at the same time. Before I knew it, I was doing it and creating dinners, learning new skills, and flavor combinations from the Food Network. Now, I live for food travel, and adventures with friends and family. My journey through culinary school, the restaurant and catering industry, international travels, and continued gastronomical research helps me find inspiring ways to introduce the world of delicious and healthy food to families with any diet and lifestyle.
Although the sky’s the limit, I specialize in worldly cuisines that can be tailored to gluten-free, dairy-free, and anti-inflammatory. I love to create custom menus reflecting the client’s unique preferences and dietary desires. In a world quickly turning automated and impersonal, I am proud to offer clients personalized services that allow them to preserve their irreplaceable time with family and friends.
